The classification of crucibles and the usage of each crucible

OIP (4).jpg

The crucible is made of crystalline bai-shaped natural graphite as the main raw material, du plastic refractory clay as the binder, and is made by combining it with different types of clinker. It is mainly used for smelting special alloy steel, melting non-ferrous metals and Alloy refractory graphite crucible. In terms of product performance and use, graphite crucible is an integral part of refractory materials.

Crucibles can be divided into three categories: graphite crucibles, clay crucibles and metal crucibles. Among graphite crucibles, there are three types: general graphite crucible, special-shaped graphite crucible and high-purity graphite crucible. Various types of graphite crucibles, due to different properties, uses and conditions of use, use raw materials, production methods, process technology, and product specifications.

The main raw material of graphite crucible is crystalline natural graphite. Therefore, it retains the original physical and chemical properties of natural right ink.

That is: it has good thermal conductivity and high temperature resistance, and has a small thermal expansion coefficient during high temperature use, and has a certain strain resistance to rapid heat and cold. It has strong corrosion resistance to acids and alkaline solutions, and has excellent chemical stability.

The crucible has many models and specifications, and it is not restricted by the production scale, batch size and smelting material variety during application. It can be selected at will, with strong applicability, and can ensure the purity of the smelted material.

Graphite crucibles are widely used in the smelting of alloy tool steels and the smelting of non-ferrous metals and their alloys in metallurgy, casting, machinery, chemical and other industrial sectors due to the above-mentioned excellent properties. And has a good technical and economic effect.

Quartz crucible

1. Quartz crucible can be used below 1450 degrees, divided into transparent and opaque. The semi-transparent quartz crucible made by the arc method is an indispensable basic material for drawing large-diameter single crystal silicon and developing large-scale integrated circuits. Today, developed countries in the semiconductor industry in the world have used this crucible to replace the small transparent quartz crucible. It has the advantages of high purity, strong temperature resistance, large size, high precision, good heat preservation, energy saving, and stable quality.

2. It cannot be in contact with HF. It is easy to react with caustic alkali and alkali metal carbonate at high temperature.

3. Quartz crucible is suitable for using K2S2O7, KHSO4 as flux to melt samples and Na2S207 (first drying at 212 degrees) as flux to process samples.

4. Quartz is brittle and easy to break, so be careful when using it.

5. In addition to HF, ordinary dilute inorganic acids can be used as cleaning fluids.
